FAQ
How far in advance do I need to book with you?
As soon as you’re ready! Most couples book 12-18 months ahead of their wedding day in order to secure a Saturday during peek wedding season. Family, senior and other portrait sessions don’t need to be booked as far in advance. My schedule can be flexible!
How far are you willing to travel?
I’m based in Holly, Michigan and am willing to travel throughout the state for sessions. Northern Michigan (Charlevoix) is my hometown and all-time favorite place to shoot! Destination events are also on my bucket list!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING / WEAR TO THE SESSION?
Brainstorm with me before your session to curate the perfect variety of outfits and props so that your session has the look and feel you’re going for. Not sure of a specific style and want me to lay it out for you? I’d be happy to give you outfit color schemes and session theme ideas! I have a variety of props that can be utilized as well.
What kind of gear do you use?
I'm a Nikon gal! My main body is a D850 and my backup / second camera body is a D800. I frequently shoot with a 50mm f1.8 lens, and also have a 70-200mm f2.8 and 14-24mm f2.8 lens for zoom and wide angle photo opportunities.
